Frippertripper is a free, browser-based synthesizer and tape-echo delay looper inspired by Frippertronics — the tape-loop technique guitarist Robert Fripp built from two reel-to-reel recorders to layer ambient, self-accompanying loops. Frippertripper recreates that workflow with the Web Audio API: play a single-oscillator synth through a real-time echo delay and shape the result with a built-in limiter, all live in your browser. No installation, plugins or account needed.
